You think Pollen is Pretty??

That title is for those of you who think pollen and the color yellow for that matter are pretty (personally I still like the color yellow...)but this is what yellow dust looks like here...this is dust carried over from the Gobi Desert and across China's lovely pollutant-free air (yeah right) and then is carried over here to the lovely Land of the Morning Calm causing a bee's paradise on your car and the ground for that matter not to mention severe allergies and respiratory problems-lovely side effects of the spring here!! The flecks on the first picture are dust droplets being caught on the camera...pretty gross huh!!

A backtracked firefly

Yeah well I finally found the video from Destinee's Music Club performance, but since Chris took it you would be yawning and falling asleep before it was over, so we'll just have to settle for a few more pictures...here with her antennae (that constantly fell off!!) and her program with her name in it...ooh how exciting when you're six!!Her glowstick firefly tail..and even with it there they never turned off the lights so you could see it...bummer :(

My Little Powder Puff

Well, here's what happens when Chris is gone and I turn around for a second!!

This little outing obviously occured before Chris "left" me but I just now downloaded the pictures on the computer...so a little backtracking never hurt anybody, right?? Anyway this was our family bike ride up to Hangang Park in Seoul but the pictures you see are actually from a little detour I saw some Koreans take and it ended up being a wonderful sidetrack with beautiful flowers and scenery!!

He Left Me!!

Well Chris finally left me and the kids after some time of trying to do so....hehe...but just for a week, although I wasn't lying about the trying to leave for some time....this training TDY has already fallen through a few times so I'm glad he could finally get it this time and he's in NC where he grew up to boot!! So that makes life cheaper for us and the military I guess, since he can eat with his family and stay there occasionally if he wants to!!

Here I am always getting on everybody for not updating in forever and I haven't done for well this week either.....We've just been pretty busy getting ready for Chris's TDY, and of course getting everything together here for me and the kids to make it a smoother transition while he's gone!!

My Little Firefly

Well Destinee's been practicing hard with her after school music club for their spring musical production of "Goin' Buggy." The show consisted of songs sung by all sorts of arachnids and well all around pests (bees, caterpillars, ladybugs, and one little spider)...but we won't call Destinee a pest. It was very cute though to hear Destinee and her fellow "electric bugs" as they called themselves in the show sing about "lighting up the world" complete with all the feel good KumBya feelings you could stand. She even had a small glowstick strapped to her buns on their costume!! There's a short video too, but I'll have to have Chris help me load that on here as I'm not sure how to do it yet...so I'll stop uploading tonight until I can have Chris help me with that so I'm not out of sequence on all the thrilling and exciting events I do around here on a regular basis!! Yeah right!! ;)
