We're in Smallville!!

Not the hometown of Superman mind you but the smallville where everything is shrunken, and yet just as tasty!! Anyway, although sadly I don't have pictures for all the fun, creative baking creations I've done in the past year...this was one of my most recent cutesy little treats for some of my neighbors. Another weird thing, I like baking and giving things away instead of keeping them for my family..maybe it's for the praise and recognition...secretly probably so..I'll all about compliments!! ;) Anyway, these were a out of school treat that I made for some other families with chilren getting out of school and ready for those wonderful summer days of hamburgers and hotdogs!! Comment if you'd like the recipe!! :)

Could you not have waited two seconds more...??

Well the situation here was that I was doing dishes or something else equally "not-stoppable" for two seconds to get my little impatience baby out of his electric chair...I mean high chair...and so instead of letting Destinee help him out like I was trying to have her do he would rather get all up in a hissy fit and get stuck in the back of his highchair...now I guess you'll just HAVE to wait for me now won't you!!?? I know I'm evil!!

Death of a Horsey

You know maybe similar to "Death of a Salesman" just not nearly as famous or as cool as our "Death of a Horsey" here at the Strommer household....but then again look at the weight the "horsey" is carrying...a math conundrum that goes something like this.....42ish pds. + 45ish pds. + 27ish pds. = well one pooped Daddy horse!! Well sorry about that last one...I guess we'll have to just stick to pictures...because the laptop is having "issues" to put it nicely...if I was being honest I'd much rather throw it through our brand new beautiful wall here but care too much about my pretty wall...take note not the laptop that I care about hurting..just my wall!!
"

Cheesecake in a Bucket...what is this heaven!!??

Although I make one scrumptious cheesecake from the scratch kind of way...Chris was tired of waiting and threw the "Ready-to-Eat-Just-Put-In-A-Graham-Cracker-Crust" STUFF in the cart this last time at the commissary. How appalling...what a cheater!! Anyway, Kyle loved the last little bit that didn't quite make it in the pie crust!!

Construction Site in the House??

Well as soon as this new apparatus entered our home, Kyle took it upon himself to "climb to the highest heights" and conquer that..well what is it Mommy?? You'll see in a later picture what it is..but in case it doesn't happen to show up in anything else it is a blanket ladder bought from the Asian furniture guy that was here a few weeks ago and just adds the perfect "touch" of Asia to our home here in well...ok we got alot of touches of Asia...will you stop touching us already!!?? Golly gee whitakers...3 years is enough, don't you think Korea!!?? ;)

Death has not Warmed Over Yet!!

I know....for those of you that even check this blog..I've been a huge slacker but I'm gonna try tonight to come up with something to post about...no guarantees how interesting it'll be but I'll try to give you something readworthy!! :)

Monkey Bars and Korean Pants

Okay that last post was supposed to tell you about our fun little adventure in Seoul today but instead I got sidetracked as you could see by the 4 flippin' long paragraph post I just gave....okay well we go up to Seoul to look at the furniture store up there to see if they ever get any new King size bedroom sets in since our BX here in lovely Osan has a deathly aversion to carrying such a creature!! Well to no avail once again on that front we go to the Electronics Market...now doesn't that just sound like a bowl of cherries with three kids and a very eager and electronic savvy husband with money in his pocket (no no that money came out of an ATM) just burning a hole in his well I guess ATM card.....anyway so we go there and while Chris is "shopping" the two older kids and I just rest on a little curb next to one of the little vendors and this Korean man in the booth over comes and starts to play with Dalin...well this is all fine and good until he takes Dalin's empty drink bottle and won't give it back until Dalin kisses him...oh yes you heard me correctly KISSES HIM!! Did I emphasize this was a MAN!! Anyway I told Dalin could blow him kisses and make kissing motions towards this guy but no this man kept pointing to his cheek and telling Dalin to kiss him...I was about to give the man a nice big ol' smackeroo...and I don't mean the nice all fuzzy like kind...I mean the I will knock your flippin' cheek off if you don't get it out of my 4 year olds face!! Aren't I so sweet and genteel!!?? Anyway, finally Dalin gave him the tiniest of pecks and the man gave it back only to pick on and play with Dalin for the next 20 minutes while we're waiting for Chris.....
NOW to the pants part, there is a pretty nice little park right next to the base gate that we told the kids if they were good at the market that we'd take them back to it, well we did on our way back and Destinee has become quite good at monkey bars and so she was trying to show off a little for Daddy since he's never seen her most recent "feat of death-defying skill" and so she's going along and lo and behold there's a pair of pants hung up on a hanger right smack dab in the middle of the monkey bars...so Chris and I start looking around for the naked Korean drying his pants on the children's playground...lo and behold he's nowhere to be found...but as Destinee is getting very impatient for Daddy to watch her these words come out of her mouth: "Daddy, watch I can do the monkey bars with the pants on them." Falls under that listing of; "Things I Never Thought I'd Hear Someone Say." So there you go for one more of our enlightening Korean adventures!! ;)
