It Was Saved For Us!!

"Maryland hasn't had such a large snowstorm in years..." was what we heard when 1 day after we "move into" our new home (we are renting it for one month while the loan goes through)and the power is cut off for 3 days because of the wonderful customer service at BG&E not getting the point across that there was another person occupying this home after the previous tenant moved out. So this is what our front view looked like out our beautiful, might I add, bay window and then you can see the buildup on the little patio set out on the back. Here's to cold nights and dying by a kerosene heater...hey whatcha gonna do!!??

What Makes Me Tickled??

Brockbridge Here We Come.....How Many Friends Did You Make??

Destinee on her first day of school in a new country and state...what a trooper for my shy little girl...much less that this school has some things that could be very much improved by a little budget money...but much to our (Chris and I) happiness her teacher is as cute as pumpkin pie and I think will be the best thing that the school has going for it!! Destinee's job for the first day...job coming via Mom's request..was to make one friend and she came home and told me how she had made 40,000 friends that day and how they all chased her around on the playground....I proceeded to ask with a worried look if that was a good thing and as if I had asked her if there were skies in the sky she very disgustedly told me "YES Mom....*sigh*. Okay, just remembering very sad times on the playground being chased and it was not the happiest experience of my life!!

Suits on the Loose

Just my cutesy little men in their Korean $25.00 five piece suits....oh yeah!!!!! Get some before you leave Korea Ladies!!!! The Koreans did "screw up" in their normal fashion a tad and didn't get us the matching ones on one set of them that we ordered but at least they are still pinstripes and inevitably still very cute....whatdya think??

All Hail The Irish!!

Yeah who cares that I'm not Irish...'cause goodness knows I'd love to talk like them and visit their country..for all the wonderful "drink choices..." just kidding!! But anyway, in true hair blog addicted MOM style...we went all out..besides what fun would it be to get pinched on your 3rd day in a new school...not so much I do not think so we made sure that my girl was DECKED OUT and the other children would be "Green with Envy!!" If you can't tell by the "I look like I'm sitting on the toilet pose (who knows where that came from by the way) those pants are green as well!! Oh yeah...ROSS is my favorite!! Where else can you get a tacky, bright pair of green pants to embarrass your child with for less than $5!!

Well no pictures yet because we only were able to get on the internet for a little while tonight because someone in the neighborhood left their wireless network "unsecured"....BAD US!!!! But I just couldn't live without my internet and have to wait on the cable people...but anyway....we have a home that hopefully will be legitimately ours in a month or so...we're renting it from the current owner until the loan goes through because otherwise...we'd be homeless while waiting for it to go through,so good for us that she's letting us be squatters for a little while!!
