Came across this one while looking tonight...what about this?? Chris wouldn't hate these kind of bangs would he?? What do you think?? Aww..I only have three days to figure it out!! ;)

Please Help Me Out!!

Okay, so Chris comes home in 3 days now..WhooHoo, but I have a dilemma. I have wanted to do something new and/or different (color,cut,EVERYTHING) for a long time and this seems like the perfect "shock and awe" kind of time to do it while Chris is still gone and then can come home to his 20 pound lighter, hot haired wife!! So the first two pics are from times past and long forgotten back in high school and early years of college...sorry the perm pic is so small..maybe you can enlarge it by clicking on it...anyway, so I've always liked how I look in bangs but Chris hates them, but then we both enjoy perms or just all around curly hair but they're expensive to get...then the bottom two are me present day and can we just say Eww!! So, fellow fashionable blog readers, help me out..what could I change with my hair to make it cuter and hotter and just all around BETTER!! I'm open to color suggestions,style suggestions,etc. (No Britney Spears Baldilocks though..you have to draw the line somewhere, right!!) So I hope to see LOTS of comments from any and all of my wonderful readers, no matter how few they are!! ;) Alright, TTFN!! ;)

What are Your Kids Wearing for St. Patrick's Day??

It's too late to come up with a witty title for this, so I'll just ask.."Whatcha wearin on this Green Day?" Well, here's what my kiddos will be sporting..Homemade creations by good ol' Mom...I"m pretty proud at how much better I've gotten at this whole sewing/clothes thing since Chris has been gone..maybe he should leave more often so I can get good at other things...Naah!! Oh yeah and that ribbon would be beautiful tied in a big fluffy bow wouldn't it...yeah it had other plans so a big, ugly knot is whatcha get for this pic tonight!! ;) I've always dreamed of making Destinee one of those huge, fluffy tutus that she could wear for dress-up or even out, but after working with the little bit of tulle on that skirt tonight, I might opt out forever!! ;) And for one of the little gentleman in my life, a very Irish pub worthy fabric print made into pants, complete with pockets (that's what the close-up pic is but it's hard to see and even a fake fly!! HeHe!! ;) Well I can't wait to see updates on all those other blogs I stalk, I mean peruse!! ;)

What all the respectable super heroes are wearing these days....after spells with World of Quest, Dino Squad, and SuperWhy...the newest TV obsession is Johnny Test...I have to admit that it is quite funny some of the things they do or say...Kyle's hands in the first pic are of one of Johnny's special "mutant powers" of hurricane hands...and this outfit was worn ALL day only with a brief stint of fully clothed cuteness in the bottom pic..look at that cute little foot kick (not coached at all..just general cuteness!!)

A MOM edition creation

I absolutely hate everything about how I look in pics, but I didn't think to just take a pic of the shirt without me in it until I saw how utterly deflicted I look in here, but anyway...took an existing shirt and reverse appliqued my "title" for the world to see, and even gave myself some ruffled sleeves....cutesy or stupid?? Would you wear it?? ;)

Another Issue of Creations

Well, I've been looking forward to a big "mega creations" post right before Chris got back but I guess this is a preview of more to come...It was my first time using freezer paper stenciling and I think it came out awesome, if I do say so myself!! Also I probably didn't take the best pics of the shirt for either one of them but Dalin's is a stegosaurus and Destinee's is a cat to match their animal's respective onomatopoeia-"ic" sound on their pants (don't you love my big high school word!!) In all I was very satisfied with how these all came out....what do you HONESTLY think??

Spring Has Sprung..or at least there's a trap set for it!!

Sorry for the lame title joke, but you know that a trap has to be set before it can be "sprung.." hehe okay not really!! Anyway, on to the post, taking a hint from my good friend here...I felt the spring vibe today and decided to make a little picket fence action happen on my background..I am always continually amazed at how realistic computer generated images can be..don't you think if you touched that fence you just might get a splinter?? I sure do!! ;)
