Some To Come...

Well, nothing exciting to report, for sure..but I did take a cute picture of the kids today that I'll post soon...lots of new decisions in the Strommer household to make recently regarding Chris's job and "future" in the military...and sometimes blogging or rather looking at other people's blogs is the only way that I can get out of the indecision that is always running rampant in Chris's mind especially but mine as well...so keep up those updates so it gives this crazy mixed-up military wife something to laugh at and certainly something to entertain me!! Happy 4th of July...well soon at least...I can't wait...we're having a BBQ here with hopefully some friends that will come and I have found some really cute recipes off of my uber favorite site.....familyfun.com and so hopefully there will be people who come and partake of the yumminess that we will try to make!! So come on down to try some "Corn on the Cobcake"...definitely looking forward to that one..but you'll just have to wait and see the pictures on that one!! ;)

I was so happy this year to finally see the beginning of a season show....and then since then I've missed every one of the shows.......but finally I got the smarts to check the AFN schedule and found out how many bazillion times of day that this show comes on...but I saw this video on a friend's blog and just made me "hunger" to see the show again...so it was just as heart-felt on the video as it was on the real show!! But obviously since I can't figure out how to get something directly downloaded from YouTube directly, mainly because it's in Korean...just click on the title link...it's really worth watching a dance set to one of my newest favorite hip hop songs...maybe yours too!!

Mini Big Mac Recipe!!

Yeah!! Somebody actually cared to comment for the recipe!! Anyway, there's not really a detailed ingredient list or anything but just a few strategic placed candies and all-around yummies make for a cute surprise....

Buns-Vanilla Wafers

Sesame Seeds-Actually sesame seeds..but you could use rice krispies if you wanted as well-they are attached with a little baste of some warm light colored jelly (I used Apple)

Lettuce-Put some coconut in a small Ziploc with some green food coloring

Ketchup/Mustard-Just a dab of red and yellow frosting on the sides of the buns

Oh yeah..I was about to forget probably the most important part...because I mean HELLO who would want to eat a hamburger with no burger!!

Fun Times in Everland

We finally started using our Everland passes that we spent a neck and toe for (I think out of the box...no arm and a leg for me!!) and went with some friends!! The first picture certainly isn't the best of Dalin but it's the only one that had the other little blond girl, Laurel out from behind someone's head..and the second one we took at the request of my friend, Lindsay because she thought it was cute that my kids were actually sharing and so nicely at that....hey on a hot day you don't care how many people are drinking with you as long as you get some too!!

We're in Smallville!!

Not the hometown of Superman mind you but the smallville where everything is shrunken, and yet just as tasty!! Anyway, although sadly I don't have pictures for all the fun, creative baking creations I've done in the past year...this was one of my most recent cutesy little treats for some of my neighbors. Another weird thing, I like baking and giving things away instead of keeping them for my family..maybe it's for the praise and recognition...secretly probably so..I'll all about compliments!! ;) Anyway,these were a out of school treat that I made for some other families with chilren getting out of school and ready for those wonderful summer days of hamburgers and hotdogs!!
