Fluffs and Stripes

Well this was the first one I made with the new ribbon Chris brought back from his TDY to the good old US of A!! Don't you love the fluff!! Sorry the second one is kinda bright..don't know how to turn off the flash!!

Missoula's Style

This was this morning's style for Destinee's practice for the children's theatre she is in this week!! I loved how the criss cross came out on the bottom! Even with short hair...score one for the shorties!! ;)

The Green and Bluish One in Use!!

Just some knots on the top and the previously pictured green and white bow...I was so happy to find that the colors in the bow matched this "groovy" shirt colors..which is certainly not easy to match usually!! ;) Sorry for all the bow and hair pictures but maybe that's what some of you come to see.

Just some more creations!!

Just a few more creations...there's not a closer picture of the pink and white but there's beads in the middle and a piece of black ribbon folded into the shape of a rose. Now ask me if I could recreate the rose shape again and well the resounding answer would be a no...it was a very exciting moment when I saw what I had done and didn't really mean to!!

I Like to Shake It Shake It!!

Yeah I know, supposed to be "move it,move it" but for this particular "instrument" it's more of a shaker than a mover!! Yet another one of those rare moments that I actually participated in something that the kids wanted and so we made a morocca out of paper bowls and rice....very soon after Kyle ripped it apart and so we had a nice rice filled bedroom floor!! ;)

Today's Funny but Maddening Experience

Well so Dalin has this way of getting the little metal parts that go in the holes on a belt to go backwards in the buckle...yes I know you'd have to see it to understand but we were in a hurry to go to church this morning so I just "went with it" and put it on backwards and just buckled it backwards...well so we get home from church and Dalin has to go to the bathroom...of course I say "Well thanks for sharing Dalin, now go" and he tries to go but comes back very quickly with the declaration that he indeed cannot get his belt undone so he can't get his pants down and after a few minutes of a very eager potty dance and Mommy yanking him halfway off the floor trying to get the little metal things out of the holes, I decided that the only way to get it off without him peeing on the floor was to cut the belt so we take the scissors to it and a very relieved Dalin can now go relieve his potty holding misery, but now Mommy has her own kind of misery knowing we have to buy another belt!! :( Sad times!! But funny for those of you who it wasn't happening to, so go ahead and have a belly roll at our expense, it's really okay!! ;)
