This New Template Thing

Well, I had gotten bored with the same 10 or so "manufactured" blog templates and so I decided to go on the internet to try and find some other ones. I have seen so many of our friends' blogs with very cute and very "them" kind of backgrounds like they created them themselves-and well I certainly wish I knew how they did it or where they got it...because I spent hours yesterday just trying to hope I hadn't erased my entire blog when it came up blank and nothing would come up...but then I got the hang of where to put the right "html" code and all that other jazz but now the NEW Flickr badge that I had created (since I accidentally erased the old one off my blog this morning) now no longer even appears with this new template. Also the links I had listed for other friends' blogs and things wouldn't show up either so I finally found a help site that answered how to get them to show up, BUT now they aren't really links, they're just words of the sites that I wanted links to (because they don't go anywhere when you click on them). If anyone feels my plight and knows how to fix my mistakes PLEASE comment or email me back some answers.

Sorry about that last post!!

Thought I had last everything!! Hopefully now I can get everything back to where it's supposed to go...Cute Valentine's Day Template though huh!!??
DID I Screw it up

Hot Stuff!!

All the big volcanoes and craters that people hear of are located on the big island of Hawaii, and they even have a road in Volcanoes National Park (an actual national park dedicated to volcanoes, cool huh!!) that is called Chain of Craters road and it goes probably about 25 miles away and on "optimal" days you can see lava flowing towards the road in certain areas-but of course that's with OPTIMAL conditions which hardly ever seems to happen to average people on any average day. But the kids and Chris took this drive later at night so hopefully they could see something while Kyle and I stayed at the cabin and "chilled." Well I chilled, Kyle went to sleep!! Though it wasn't flowing "over the road" you could certainly still see the lights and even feel the heat Chris said from off in the distance.

The Arrow Warriors

Destinee and Dalin trying to launch some spears with the help of a Tongan warrior there in the background. There was a contest to see who could launch one of these traditional spears, which were actually pretty heavy, closest to a mark in the sand that the workers had set up-so Chris's family including Chris and our kids tried with "close" results for Chris but no cigar and I happened to be holding Kyle at the moment but decided I wanted to try-so I had Chris hold him for a second just so I could try it out too and I hit the mark right on the dot-but everybody else had started to leave so they didn't "see" me do it so I didn't get a prize!! :( Sad times!! Anyway, notice the matching outfits!! How cute are they!!??

We Have Awakened!!

I have finally found some pictures to update our blog with-well actually not even update just a little more backtracking and some good Hawaii pictures that I had neglected to put on here!!

Ode to President Hinckley

When we are the Polynesian Cultural Center this past August, this sword or spear was the first thing that greeted you at the entrance and it was given to President Hinckley on his 95th birthday I think from the Tongan people and it was displayed right at the front of this very cool, and educational center. This means so much more now that we, the LDS church, have lost our beloved President Hinckley. He died on Sunday at the age of 97, and had certainly lived a long fulfilling life as in his "reign" as Prophet, Seer, and Revelator, he brought the church membership from 9 million to somewhere around 13 million and increased the outside of America membership to more than the Americas, which was a momentous occasion. He as well dedicated over 100 small temples all around the world. He brought the church into the forefront of the media and the world by traveling everywhere around the world at 96 and also making appearances on 60 minutes, and Larry King Live...that I think he changed many peoples' opinions of what our church believes. He will be greatly missed, and yet I know that his wife and loved ones in the hereafter are looking forward to seeing him again. GoodNight President Hinckley....
