Technology and Star Wars

What has technology done for us?? Well I'll tell you..it has given our children the opportunity to cut each other in half by multi-colored lasers without all the pain and gore!! If you can't tell by the sound on the video these are my two little Jedi "shinging" (Kyle's word for the sound that a sword or other weapon makes when drawn) each other with light sabers via an app for the IPhone!! Goodness gracious what would we do without all these fun new-fangled things!! ;)

Look Mommy...A Funny Diaper!!

Well Chris and I finally decided to try and attempt to get the bathroom vanity out of the middle of our living room floor, and get it upstairs to go in our newly remodeled bathroom...did I mention it weighs 250 pds. and we live in a 3 story TH!! Yeah, well anyway so the kids were told to clear the path so that we could grunt, groan, and cuss (well Chris on that last one!!) while getting this beast up the stairs and halfway up Kyle pokes his head out of his room to show us his "funny diaper"....and this is what we find....could you imagine we near dropped the vanity down the stairs!! ;) Well in case you couldn't guess, we almost did!!

A Deviated Septum and Pretty Tile Floors

For those of you mothers who have daughters, I'm sure you've seen Hannah Montana and are familiar with the really annoying girl named Tracy that has such a nasal voice, and she says it's from a deviated septum..well that's what I'm claiming for why I always sound like I have a nose plug on...haha!! But anyway, the bathroom has come quite further since this video was taken but at least my mom can see the floors now!! ;) Next the sponge painting on the walls....

Junior Suite for FREE!!

So this last month (July) the base chapel put on a marriage retreat..i.e. 2 day 2 night weekend getaway...where the guys got out of work to come to it ALL FOR FREE!! So hey who can't use a few days away from their kids in a junior suite at a luxury resort!! I sure know I can!! So these were just a few pics from there..we also got a free dinner cruise on Baltimore's Inner Harbor..that's the boat pic. No, I'm not pregnant in that last picture either, I guess I just was "full" from all the yummy meals!! ;)
