"Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday dear MEEEE..Sad Birthday to me!!" Well so let's have a recap of last year's birthday...Feb. 20th 2009, up at 4 am to catch a 3 hour bus ride to Seoul airport, leaving the only really good friends our family had had in a long time, finding out my parents had moved from NC to Utah (sad because if in NC they would have been only 6 hours away from me), and have an 18 hour flight to look forward to. Fast Forward: Feb. 19th, 2010 (I'm writing a little early) my husband is 6000 miles away and no one other than my mom (aforementioned ALONG ways away) knows it's even my birthday. Maybe tomorrow will bring wonderful surprises that I don't even know about...you think it could happen?? Maybe!! ;)

As usual it's late and I'm up wasting time while I should be in bed, but after feeling like nodding off here at the keyboard and as my head hits the keys, I type something in the neighborhood of lkasjdfnboiuaeriotuwetnzbljasdogsjdg...I thought it best to wait until tomorrow to post some cute creation pics...see you then with some fun new projects of mine!! ;)

How We Roll...Valentine's Day Style

Well I figured I would post these pics since nobody other than the four walls in our house will get to see them before Valentine's Day is over...the first two are the pants I made for a "I'm too good for Valentine's Day" rockin' boy for his school party and the pink and white polka dots are the ones I made for the same school party for Destinee..you probably can't see it unless you enlarge the pic but I even made ruffled heart pockets on her pants-and then the last pic is what they were SUPPOSED to wear to church this morning..everybody complete with our rockin' Valentine fabric..(don't you love their faux ties!!) I say SUPPOSED to because our bishop declared church on just a day ago, feeling that the snow had melted enough to get out and get there..only to have it canceled a day later because the parking lot of the church was still pretty snowy...But did I know that it was canceled before I had a good cry this morning because the boys' shirts were not cooperating and I was rushing everyone to get out the door to get there on time...NO!! I get all the way to the building and lo and behold no one is there...so back to our isolation chamber (i.e. our house) to wait out the snow for yet another day!! ;)
