An awesome night!!

So our family has made quite a few stellar friends since we have been here in Monterey and one of them volunteered to watch our children overnight so that Chris and I could have a date night of sorts since he just got back from Korea... We saved the money and didn't do anything super expensive like rent a hotel or anything but it was just nice to be able to relax and do whatever we wanted and just be able to keep each other company

Hawaiian for the Night

So Destinee got to be Hawaiian for a night and even learn a New Zealand war dance taught by the missionaries to perform at our church's luau put on by our Tongan ward....my dad would've loved all the real traditional dances, and maybe still would've enjoyed the YM and YWs version too!! :)
