The Bug Has Found Us!!
Well I'd been hearing about this stomach nasty bug from my neighbor who had passed through her entire family...and was SO hoping we could be spared, but alas we were not. Dalin had it first on Sunday night/Monday and so he stayed home from school that day to recoop and he was done by that night. So then both kids attend school the next day and then Chris AND I get it AT THE SAME TIME!! Somehow, I think our Heavenly Father could have planned that one a little better...like give it to us one at a time please so that there was at least one parental unit awake and feeling good to watch the chitlets, but alas again that's not what happened. So then last night Destinee and Kyle wake up with it and so we think we'll have to keep Destinee home from school today but yet she woke up this morning after sleeping most of the night, as well as Kyle feeling chipper and ready to take on the day!! That was a definite blessing from the one upstairs that he helped those two get over it so quickly...now if it will just leave Chris and I alone for good then we'll be good to go!! So pray that the "bug" goes and "infects" someone else!! Hopefully none of you though, just maybe it could infect somebody none of us like too much or that has never had as much as a single cold, you know that type!! Anyway, so we'll write more when we're all feeling better!! ;)

The "BOWS" System
I was talking to a few girlfriends a few days ago where there happened to be one male present as well, but we were talking about my making bows and selling them and he totally piped up when he heard about me selling my "bows." Now without me telling you anything, why would hairbows be interesting to a dude??........... (Jeopardy theme playing in the background!!)...........He thought I was selling a "BOSE" system and so when I said that the most expensive bow that I had to sell was $5, he almost fell out of his seat!! Upon further investigation we got the "misunderstanding" cleared up, but anyway here's the finished product of my Halloween T-shirt dress complete with shamefully fluffy bows. I tried to make the bows look as Halloweeny as I could with the colors I had but at least I included the right colors for the season in the middle of them...so now I just need to get more wide ribbon to make the "neck-straining,sideways walking, head toppling" hairbows that go with it!! So watch out for my wide load daughter on the streets in the coming days and weeks!! ;)
The Monster From the Hairdo Lagoon!!
Boys Will Be...well Childish!!
Anyway, Chris had the "honor" (oh I so use that term loosely) of being the photographer for his squadron's combat dining in this weekend, which makes me bummed out for two reasons...it kinda ruins any plans we could've had for a Saturday, AND probably even bigger I can't go to a dining in and get all gussied up and beautimous (or well attempt to get all gussied up and...etc.) But after seeing some of these pictures he took, I can see why they don't want the more sophisticated half of the married couples to see what stupidity and childishness goes on!! Thankfully Chris was there strictly to take pictures so hopefully he escaped most of the water fights and such nonsense!!
