YeahYeah I'm Stupid!!

Okay so here are the pictures that I forgot to attach on the last post!! I didn't just slip and cut off half of the dress on the second picture...I was just showing the ribbon covered hem in case anybody was wondering!! Also I noticed after posting that you can't see very well what the fabric looks like but it's supposed to be Halloweeny with all kinds of dots!!

Annee, I did it!!!! Aren't You So Proud!!

Sorry Annee that I had to call such attention to you especially since you probably don't even check my blog enough to see that I wrote this particular post just for you!! Anyway, I know I've bugged you for so long about helping me but believe it or not Chris actually found a little bit of time to sit down and help me today and would you believe it he actually DID know what he was doing!! ;) Well this isn't the totally finished product, 'cause I still have to add the illustrious bows that inevitably make these dresses cost in the upwards of $60-$70!! Well I think you so much for the idea that you gave me a while ago when you mentioned this type of dress to me and figured it might be up my alley, with all the frills, and bows and stuff!! So I'll post more finished photos soon when I get the bows on!! Mom, aren't you proud of me too!!?? It's all that creativity that I had hidden somewhere, right?? If you want to see some more examples of these frilly, and very girly dresses, click here, but beware there might be sticker shock for some of you more sensibly frugal ladies!! ;)
Just click on the top part that says Simply Bows Dresses and then you can see them all!! Wonderful possibilites!!

Now you saw the before hairdo picture in the previous post...and this is the after!! Don't those buns look messy!!?? It's okay to say yes because they're supposed to be!! HaHa!! Imagine that, something I tried worked out the way it was supposed to!! Oh yeah, and see how the bows match!! I'm a matching master with my ribbon and hot glue gun!!

Newbies Etc.

Another installment of fun things from Grandma for the older chitlets!! Destinee's shirt perfectly matched a bow I had recently made in the oh so trendy color combo of teal and brown!! So I made her change into brown pants later on so she'd be perfectly fashionable!! And Dalin's Spiderman shirt was the talk of his morning, even though it was a few sizes too big, but way to think long term Mom!! And don't I look so suave and modelesque in my new geometric shapes!! (I am so kidding, so no fake "Oh yes Ruth, try out for America's Next Top Model...you're a shoein" comments please!!) Better to have geometric shapes on my shirt than on my math paper 'cause that Geometry math stuff just doesn't click in my head!!

Newbies from the Grandparents!!

Well some of these are newbies from the Grandma, but the shoes were a good ol' BX purchase!! And in true AAFES style, the last pair!! Did you know that the BX offers shoes in half sizes?? So now my child won't have to squeeze his toes in a sardine can and it won't look like he has cruise liners for feet either!! Yeah for "JUST RIGHT!!" Anyway, the elephant shirt is a Grandma box find and goes very well with his white pants (oh yes, white anything on a boy is a recipe for disaster, but these were a thrift shop purchase at least so if they do get ruined, I'm only out a few dollars!!)

HeyHeyHey Whatdya Think!!??

I did it the first time around with no screwups!!!! Yay for the computer technically challenged!! We are talking about changing my background here, because I screw up in plenty of other ways many more times than once!! ;) Well I'm just loving the change of weather we get here every year right around this time and it just makes me want to bake something for somebody (i.e. Halloween treats, you know who you are....Watch out, I'm a Halloween maniac!!), or make something for my children (i.e. Halloween dress,or something cute for the boys...but I still need Annie before I can start these wonderful projects!! Yes I know you've offered!!)or go shopping for beautiful sweaters, corduroy pants, and boots!! (Only problem with that is you kinda got have money to do that...it's really pretty tricky to steal clothes from an online store!! Anybody figures out how to get cute clothes shipped here without paying, you let me know!!) Anyway, so I'm definitely feeling a change in the background feel here to reflect my fall color feelings!! ;) Happy Autumn!! (Isn't that a pretty girl's name?? Oh I digress!!)

Turnabout's Fair Play!!

Well Destinee in particular wanted to pay me back for all the tugging, pulling, and screaming that happens in the morning in preparation of these styles that we do every morning (by the way, the screaming is on my part because I can't figure out how to translate a picture from the computer of some gorgeous updo mess on a child with hair down to her hooha onto my child's shoulder length hair!! ;) Sorry for the hooha visual!! ;) So they both decided to make up Mommy into something pretty too!! Kyle tossed an occasional bobby pin in too!! Isn't it beautimous!! ;) They are for hire, so any of your Moms that just can't figure out what to do with the rat's nest that we call our hair after sleeping on it, my children are there to rescue you!! ;)
P.S. After posting the pictures I realized I look drunk or high or something in that first picture, and I apologize that you had to see me like that but I mean really wouldn't you need a stiff drink or something "a wee stronger" if your hair looked like this!! ;)

All I Can Say is Yummy!!

Well this happened a few days ago but Kyle wanted some cereal and juice, but definitely protested when I tried to put the juice in a cup...he wanted it in his cereal bowl!! I mean, "Duh Mommy, doesn't everybody eat juice on their cereal!!" This picture is actually of the Cookie Crisp that we tried second after the Cap'n Crunch...and he was a much bigger fan of the Cap'n Crunch Juice Mess, but of course I didn't think to get the picture until he had the second bowl of Cookie Crisp!! ;)

Not that anybody was really wondering or worrying where I've been in the last few days blogwise but in case you were just biting your nails in anticipation of when my next post would be....well save your nails I'm here. But not for anything interesting!! Lots of fun and funny stuff happens while I'm here with Kyle all day by myself (which I just absolutely love by the way...one on one time with my cutie-patootie baby!!)like him always wearing Destinee's shoes or socks (bright pink) or just doing the cute silly things that he does on the regular basis, but I never seem to be able to locate the camera at those times!! Isn't that how it always is?? But anyway, I'll be back soon with cute pictures and stories, I promise. So try not to miss me too much in that space of time!! ;)
