Thanksgiving Day

So I didn't get any good pictures of our guests or even all of our yummy food but it indeed was very yummy and tasty!! I got a picture of three of the people that braved Black Friday sales with me though. I think my pie turned out very pretty as well and I had another one that I didn't take a picture of that had beautiful flower shapes on top.... And the third picture is leftover dough that Kyle asked to play with and then shortly brought over his re-creation of a brain I think it's a pretty good representation it has hemispheres and lines what do you think!!

4 more USAF!!

So after many careful days, weeks, even months of careful reflections Chris decided to give the Air Force some more of his life and some more of his time, despite the paperwork issues and personnel conflicts as they may be it is a wonderful life for our family and provides very well for us. As a reenlistee you get to choose where you would like to reenlist and who is the officer to reenlist you and while we lived in Korea, Chris's commander there we got to be kind of friends with them and enjoyed them very much he has recently moved here to Fort Meade and picked up a few ranks as well so what a pleasure and benefit that Chris could have a Colonel to reenlist him at historic Fort McHenry where the Star-Spangled Banner was written. What a beautiful and picturesque day. We took many more pictures on Chris's camera and when those are uploaded I will show you better ones!!

Port Discovery

So ever since we moved here we have seen this children's museum just a short ways away from us in Baltimore and would've loved to attend it but it has always been so expensive...well every third Friday of the month it becomes two dollars and Chris even got in for free (another military perk) so it was a fun little time!!

A little B-ball!!

So the only organized sport that Kyles ever played was soccer and it was right after we first got here and he was the youngest on the team and the smallest and didn't really understand the concept. So this year we decided that it was time for him to play again and so he's playing basketball with an age group of 5 to 6-year-olds and he is by far one of the best and can hit the basket when so many others can't. I know he's excited to keep playing and uniform pictures to follow, as they haven't gotten them yet.

Colonial Williamsburg for Veterans Day

There's nothing like being a month behind on posting your stuff but hey better late than never right!! So Colonial Williamsburg offers free admission to the military and their families on any patriotic holiday so we thought before the inevitable comes when we must move we should enjoy this historic place so close to us... Hopefully you can see the picture that had the prices on it and see how much of the savings it was if you can't the long and short of it is we got about a $200 deal because we got the three daylong pass for free!!
