I'm halfway up the hill!!

Well another birthday here and gone,
Chris had to work but his supervisors were nice enough to let him
off early to take me to dinner...
we just brought the brood as well!!

You mean I can BEAT my toys!!??

My little drummer boy

Few more b-day happenings!!

We experimented with our $15 chocolate fountain from the BX and the waterfall "effect" wasn't as smooth as I would've liked but the kids here certainly didn't seem to mind!! Kyle looks so pleased with himself making such a mess.

My "Ducklings" Birthday

So anyway, maybe you can tell the theme of Kyle's party by the pictures....but in case not we had a rubber ducky party and the first picture is a big faucet with the water flowing out of it hung from our ceiling light...and I had shower caps for everybody (even in coordinating blue and yellow colors!!) but Kyle was not too keen on wearing his...next I've gotten into fancy cake baking lately and so when I find them I'll have to post the pictures of all the cakes I've made. We've got a Halloween, and Fallish cake, and then our rubber ducky bathtub cake complete with candy tile floor!!

Some slight backtracking

Well I made the mistake of centering the pictures and not just saying no format so now we've got a big line of pictures instead of a nice block but oh well...anyway we went to one of the many ice rinks this December and let the kids try their luck at a new "sport..." well this was only Chris and Ruth's second time ever ice skating so what would seem we were not in any way ready to be the teachers for the kids and that proved very true for Ruth-but Chris remembered the skills needed I guess or caught on very quickly because he felt steady enough to even take Kyle around a few times..Ruth stopped after about two times around!! Not my thing!! But the kids got brave enough after a few turns to let go and try it on their own as you can see in the pictures.

Asian Stylings

How do you like the new Asian-inspired background?? Since we're never gonna leave here it seems I figured this was the best for the long run view!! Hope you like!!

Good Luck Sen. McCain!!

Well, Mitt Romney has officially "suspended" his campaign, meaning to simple folks like us that he is down for the count. But he made a good showing, and was respectable (almost all the time) to the end!! Now it's up to John McCain to put up a good "fight" against one of the "OTHER TWO!!"
