We're Here!!

Well for those of you that follow my blog...all 2 of you or something and I don't know your email addresses....we're here!! We've been here for about a week now and the house hunting/renting has been going quite slow or actually fast depending on how you look at it....every rental that we would look at and fall in love with would be already snatched up when we would call about it...hello realtors....update your websites!! So we've decided on a beautiful townhome in the Russet area of Laurel...that last part was posted for you Tammy since probably nobody else knows where that is!! We have put in an offer and are now doing the counter-offering lingo...so pictures to come soon if everything works out!! ;) Talk to you then!!

Why Again Am I Not Cleaning??

Well as the title clearly states, I should SO be doing something productive to get my house ready for its final inspection on Tuesday, but instead I'm responding to a silly tag...that's SO much more fun!! ;)

Instructions were:

Go to Pictures/Documents Folder
Find 6th File
Post 6th Picture...something like that at least

Kyle decided to help me clean one day (as you can see, some time ago as he still definitely has that "baby face" appeal) and somehow climbed in the washing machine with no help at all...well I guess the little lint trash can put down by the washer was his only help aid but even so that's a big climb for a 1 yr. old!!

I Thought This Day Would Never Come!!

WELL....The title bears repeating...but for your sake I won't....I of course wanted to be all cool and take pictures of our movers packing all our things up to be shipped to distant lands but of course it was put away somewhere safe where I couldn't remember where I put it (hey, at least I remembered to get it out so it wasn't getting packed!!) but sufficed to say it was a glorious day and Kyle acted wonderful and didn't get in the way, owed to a big thanks to our neighbor for helping out with that for some of the day as well...and then the "friend I shoud've met 3 1/2 years ago" showed up with dinner for us so we wouldn't have to eat the carpet since that was the only thing left in the house!! AND THEN someone decorated our door last night for the big Heart Day but ran away after ringing the doorbell so I don't know who it was. So I guess in closing of this particular post, it bears saying that though we've been here since the beginning of time it seems, the friends we have made are worth every long/hot (in the summer) cold/windy (in the winter) perfect/beautiful (Spring and Fall) day we've spent here in Korea!! We've still got another week before we actually ship ourselves out but just a wrapup in case I don't get around to coming up with anything brilliant before then!! ;)

Are those Oceanliners or Just Your Feet??

Okay so this morning I can't find any of Kyle's socks before we're heading out the door to go walk the kids to school (in the Arctic I might add) and so a pair of Dalin's will just have to do....The day goes just fine and he keeps them on and is just happy as a clam playing around when I notice him coming in around lunchtime and this is what his feet look like.....in case the first picture doesn't make his feet look disproportional enough to his little body...the second picture sure does....that's like having Destinee's foot implanted on my 2 yr. old!! I expect a call from the NBA telling me that this child has major potential to be the next (oh give me a good white ball player's name...I'm drawing a blank...)Larry Byrd.....(hey it's the best I could remember!!) But at least the third picture is with them fixed and pinned up to his ankles and so he looks normal!! ;) YeahYeah I know nothing earth-shattering to post about but Chris is on the other computer doing work stuff so I can't talk to him so you get doofy pictures of my kid's feet...Deal With It!! ;)

Okay Fine...No Videos Then!!

Alright so I've tried to upload two different videos..one showing the snowfall coming down outside and then another dorky, but way funny little ditty of us eating our snow cream and saying how yummy it was.....but Blogger decided to be a booger head and not upload them!! So you don't get any cutesy or dorky videos from us today...Don't be too sad...we'll try again sometime soon!! ;)

Snow Around The World

Well my loving father in heaven must have known that I needed a reminder that the USA is really there and that the people there are still part of the world I live in and on even though I can't see them readily....Okay enough religious muckety-muck-muck!! ;) Anyway, in the last few days I've been seeing snowy fun pics of people I know and love from back in the US....so hopefully if I can get it to work...A comparison for you..........Okay so I'm a dork and I don't have a family picture of us in the snow but you can definitely tell from my yummy looking snow cream that we did indeed have snow...and the bottom is my brother and his wife and one of their kids!! Worlds apart, but weather still reaches us both!!

FINALLY!!

Well we finally did get our assignment....we knew all along that our best chance would be to go to Ft. Meade in Maryland and that's where it is. Housing is quite expensive, but we're definitely excited to go. Chris has been TDY there two times and really loves the area...so we'll leave Feb. 24th if not a week or so early if we can help it!! ;)
