Atlas and Free!!

So usually we do not do events on Sunday other than staying home, but today we were lucky enough to have free tickets via the USO of Washington to see the Washington Savoyards (a collection of performers from different opera companies in area)...look at the price on those tickets and then times it by 5...the military has such wonderful benefits and opportunities that I'm so glad that Chris decided to stay in so we can enjoy more of them...the outside of the building and location in the heart of poor DC is quite misleading... forgot to get a picture of the inside but gorgeous and very regal.

Love Is in the Air

Valentine's Day is almost here thought we might put a little bit of that feeling in our hair what do you think? One before the ribbon weaving,and one without...which do you LOVE better!

Wisp in the West

So we decided to have a little winter family fun, so we headed up to the Wisp Ski Resort in western Maryland..here are the results in photos,and since iPhone and Google don't like to play nice together,the videos will come later after I get them from YouTube. Better pictures are on Chris's phone,so will do those soon as well.

Why Grow Up

That is what I have to ask myself when I look at my little Kyle..granted unless you're the Duggars (I think they just announced their 23rd) you can't just keep having kids so you can always have one in the stage you like best, but man I love this little one with so much personality (especially when it comes to clothes) that he just can't contain it sometimes...Chris got some better shots with his nicer camera but this was easier and more time effective for me!! :)

Mini Me and Big Me

Not mini me of myself but a little mini Chris working in our kitchen cabinets. The military has already told us we were leaving once only to yank it out from under us right when we were getting excited...so obviously the possibility to leave here is real so with every little break we get from work (both Chris and I),school (both for kids and Chris) cub scouts,and now Activity day girls (recently got a new calling) we thought it would be smart to work on a house project getting it little by little ready to be sold, or rented or whatever. Will post picture of beautifully stained cabinets soon.

The biggest duffel bag known to man

Have you guys ever seen these Christmas tree bags...looks like Chris is a circus clown with everything bigger than life...small things make me laugh here people!!
