Ode to President Hinckley

When we are the Polynesian Cultural Center this past August, this sword or spear was the first thing that greeted you at the entrance and it was given to President Hinckley on his 95th birthday I think from the Tongan people and it was displayed right at the front of this very cool, and educational center. This means so much more now that we, the LDS church, have lost our beloved President Hinckley. He died on Sunday at the age of 97, and had certainly lived a long fulfilling life as in his "reign" as Prophet, Seer, and Revelator, he brought the church membership from 9 million to somewhere around 13 million and increased the outside of America membership to more than the Americas, which was a momentous occasion. He as well dedicated over 100 small temples all around the world. He brought the church into the forefront of the media and the world by traveling everywhere around the world at 96 and also making appearances on 60 minutes, and Larry King Live...that I think he changed many peoples' opinions of what our church believes. He will be greatly missed, and yet I know that his wife and loved ones in the hereafter are looking forward to seeing him again. GoodNight President Hinckley....
