Hopefully.....

Okay so many of you ladies that I check your family's blogs have similar horror stories to the one I wanted to express today...children "almost" falling out of 2 story windows, children running naked across a busy highway....anyway but I've held off on some of my close calls or "painstakingly" nasty stories because of busy eyes that sometimes think that their mothering skills would have never allowed that to happen to "their child...." but last night's events were too disgusting not to show (isn't it funny that we flock to the disgusting and revolting stories when it's not our child going through it...well enjoy and laugh it up because you weren't here!!) Anyway, so we get back from Seoul last night from our 3 day weekend in Seoul to actually a pretty clean house..which I have to give myself full credit for...or well at least we THINK it's pretty clean...but what's lurking behind doors will shock and amaze you...ok not so dramatic but anyway...I go out on our balcony to water our plants and have an awful feeling in my nasal passages telling me that something outside really STANK..now with Kyle inside, we narrowed down one culprit...but then there's also just the natural "air" or Korea pretty much always assaulting your nasal area in some way or another...but this was just of the bodily waste smell category. So I turn on the light to find a pair of Dalin's pants, and undies covered in well..okay the fecal matter to say it technically and smeared all over that side of the porch. Now yes Dalin is 4 and very potty trained but he also stops up his bathroom toilet on a regular weekly basis because of the amount of TP that is being consumed there..so before we left on our trip we had locked the door to their bathroom and rerouted them to ours to prevent even more backage uppage in their said bathroom. So unbeknownst to either Chris or I, sometime in those two days that they had to take a bathroom detour Dalin had proceeded to plop a squat out on our porch and "unload' himself and then "ditch" the evidence and go get clean undies and pants on. Okay so when asked about this event 3 days later (oh yes the porch was rather ripe after 3 days of sun and rain shining down on our little present outside) he said he was afraid we would've gotten mad at him if he'd stunk up our potty!! Well, what do you say to that.....so Chris asks him to go clean out his pants and undies in the tub so hopefully he wouldn't think it was a great idea next time to do that.....okay so the yuckage continues....while Chris is out on the porch cleaning up the evidence of the stinkiness...I'm putting a very tired little Kyle to bed...no problems there he had his milk and went to bed. Not 2 minutes later he wakes up screaming...now him crying about having to go to sleep is no new thing but him giving up the fight and then waking up soon after is rather unusual...so I go to see what's wrong and can't tell anything is different except for he's all wet on his shirt and coincidently I'm stepping in something wet as well...but his bottom half wasn't wet so it wasn't the previous disaster fecal matter...so what could get his shirt and the floor wet.....oh yeah...the ever lovely upchuck.....so I start to clean this up and then enlist Chris's help with the carpet, so he drags out the steam cleaner to get that and then I finally get him to sleep again, Chris being pleasantly thankful that the night of cleaning up the nasties had ceased. Well then he goes to visit the "facilities" in our bathroom and what does he find...how well are we following my novel here let's see.....What does Chris find in the bathtub
A.) Water from a bath left there over the weekend
B.) Nothing..I mean what else could be in there
****OR*****
C.) Dalin's "covered" pants and undies left there to soak for a weekend

OKAY, did you score 100% on this quiz.......that's right!! So Chris sets about to clear out the tub and soak it down with ammonia so no yummy disease ridden anythings decide to take up residence in our tub...is he a good husband or what!!?? ;)

Can you do anything other than laugh at this situation? The adventures of parenthood! That's a great story for when they get older!
