My Inventive (and Strange) Husband!!
Okay, yes most women cooks would probably have known this trick, but ask any normal red-blooded dude what you cut cheese with and he will either say a knife or something along the lines of: "Well that depends on the kind of cheese you want cut.......the eatable kind or the stinky kind!!" Oh hardy har har gentlemen!! (Latter quote must be said in best "Bubba" Redneck accent to be funny!!)

Dental floss is also the best thing to use to cut your cinnamon rolls when they are in the dough form. Knives stick to the dough and the dental floss slides right through for a great cut...but then I am a girl! Ha ha, just kidding!
Your other comment says it perfectly. We used to always use thread to cut cinnamon rolls or anything in a roll form. It works great (but I have never tried it on cheese.) Dental floss sounds smart too since it is stronger than thread (but not as easily on hand).
