11 and Still Going!!

Now many people, when it's their anniversary post long huge posts about their significant other, and tell the world how wonderful the other one is, BUT since I'm typing this on my phone and it's quite late, I thought I would just go with the short and sweet post here. Chris and I have come through a lot and overcome many obstacles, but surprising to many who never thought we would make it ( and honestly probably to ourselves too) we have made it and have some really cute kiddos to show for it. Here's to 11 and more!!

My Tree Monkey

Just a cute picture of my tree monkey climbing outside preschool. Truly could not imagine a better place for Kyle to be learning so many valuable skills before he enters kindergarten next year I'm so very thankful that we found this preschool and Kyle absolutely loves it!!

Long time No post

So just a few days ago the kids had Dr. Seuss's birthday at school that directly coincides with an NEA read across America day so I had to make something cute for the kiddos...what do you think?

New Decade pt. 2

Then we go in search of a watch for my main bday present because my old watch had a run in with my trying to be helpful husband and didn't fair so well. Did you know that changing your own watch battery is not as easy as what it may sound.. Well Chris found that out the hard way..my Casio g shock watch from Korea (tremendous watches btw) was virtually indestructible which is great as I break my fair share...well after 4 years its battery dies and Chris knowing I hate to be without my watch tried to change the battery for me and pulls the innards out of the watch in the process...3 watch repair shops later with absolute no success,which brings us to the current "looking for new watch stage." Lo and behold the one I had was a limited edition and is no longer able to be found ANYWHERE!! Finally in the last of like 5 stores that say they carry baby g watches I find a very similar..actually color wise even a little better one that I absolutely love...round out the day with two pairs of New York and Company pants courtesy of a buy one get one free coupon and a luscious dinner pictured here, with a free redbox of Dolphin Tale and we've had a pretty good day...Here's to 30 and we'll see you soon!! ;) The Lego creation is something my boys made me today while I was getting a red box movie..can you tell what it says?

New Decade...and Do I look that old?

Well it was the big one today...no huge fanfare but overall a good day...starting with a yummy homemade breakfast of toffee hot chocolate,Belgian waffles,sausage,etc. Then we go to one of my favorite stores ever, Joann's, and finally get a pair of for real sewing scissors..if your house is anything like mine, there are no "things made for one purpose" nice things so anytime I ever had decent scissors for sewing lo and behold they would get used for digging outside or something equally not their purpose! So these are going away where kiddos can't find them!! ;) Continued on next post

Sad Times..I am hungry!!

So I go in today to see about a tooth that had broken off at school lunch no less..and almost ended up with a root canal. Thankfully at least for now the dentist said he thought the filling he put in will work...but I'm sad (refer to picture) because I can't eat until the numbness wears off the dentist said.
