Air Force Ball

So these pictures are from the annual Air Force ball that we went to this year and as the case may be with quite a few women...I didn't want to wear any of the other dresses I already had because what fun is it to wear a dress more than once!!?? ;) So I went to a thrift shop and found this $15 dress!! Can you imagine this dress was $15... sadly you can't see it close but it was very detailed and beaded. Then it was cool that we got a walk-through of swords over our heads (no that's not me walking through) Great time overall!!

Destinees Room Redo

So, while Chris was in Korea, I had this idea that what I wanted to do for her birthday present was to give her a much more "tween" kind of themed room, and so when Chris came back he helped me carry it out to my vision!! We work really well together doing such things...I come up with the idea and he helps me put it into a realistic project!! So, I'm always giving Destinee a hard time about not being "expressive" enough when I think she should be excited about something, so the few screams you hear in this video, I know are solely to please me, but I do think she enjoyed it!! :)

First days and re-creations

So just a first day picture of my two oldest and I will get Kyle's picture tomorrow as he starts tomorrow!! The re-creation part of the title is I had Destinee pose the same way she did on the picture I took of her on her first day of second grade here in Maryland so if I can find that picture I will put them side-by-side so we can compare the differences!! ;)

One Last Hurrah!!

So an area park that we found when we unsuccessfully tried to go to Six Flags a few days before school started had an activity that they were offering on Friday where we got to ride carousels, and play miniature golf and ride mini trains as much as we wanted for one fee (much cheaper than paying for each activity) what a fun evening and a wonderful way to end the summer before school!! Can you see Dalins horror when his ball lands inches away from the hole...I thought it was a funny face!!

My Family in Stickers!!

Though you can fully customize your families' look and clothes and hobbies online,they come out to be much more expensive than the Walmart colored version at four dollars I thought they were still cute... now our new car is fully "Strommerized!!" ;)
