Welcome to....Beastly!!

Well, here's an official welcome and an even cheerier goodbye hopefully to August and its beastly hot days. I know that we live on base and certainly cannot complain about the distance to anything that we ever relatively need on a regular basis-but it's sad when it's so hot outside that you don't even want to walk the 1/4 mile to the BX or even worse to the pool!! ;) Anyway, we've had our share of Korean Augusts and are definitely ready to be done with them!! Do the states get this hot and humid, it's been so long since we've seen it or been there that we don't even remember the good ol' US of A. I know my mom says that the temperature is always in the upper 100's in St. George but hopefully at that temp. the humidity isn't that bad!! We sure hope not!! Anyway, I have some wonderful pictures and videos to post, but depending on how busy this next week is trying to get Chris ready for his departure for a few days, I might post all at one shot while he's gone....I mean what else is there to do at night when your husband is gone!! ;) So until then I'll keep checking yours and hoping that some of my fellow bloggers have updated theirs better than I have mine!! What a hypocrite, huh!! :)

St. George, UT? Oh...it's hot alright, but I find I can stand the dry heat in the 100's much better than I can the humid heat in the 80's!! I also find that here in Korea, when it's overcast or a breeze, there is no relief to the heat/humidity! Whereas, in most of the places that I've lived, there was at least that...relief. OR since running the AC isn't as expensive as running it here you at least have that to count on! Maybe that's why I go to the Commissary a lot! It's the only place I truly feel comfortable...it's always nice and cool in there! :^)

Okay...I finished Breaking Dawn already (yeah, that's right. 700+ pages in less than two days...I think that's a record for me!). So, if you haven't bought it and want to borrow, let me know! ;^)
