You Blew It Golden Corral!

Of all the restaurants we have tried since we have been here in MD, Chris has not wanted to "attend" a Golden Corral as he let's say "nicely put" thinks its inhabitants sometimes are less than stellar, and so when I convinced him to go there on Saturday, I was pleasantly surprised that he relented and decided to go despite his "feelings" of superiority (just kidding!!) Well he loved all the food and just as he was feeling his "ideas"were out of place....we get back in the car to go look at Wal-Mart for well...I don't even remember but I'm sure something we couldn't live without until the next day, but his stomach starts to hurt really badly and so we tried to make one last trip to the grocery store right by our house for some once again "absolutely needed" (not really) ingredients for a cake I was making for a church function the next day, and as I get back in the car to go home his stomach gets worse and he is on the verge of tears just to get home.....long story short...see I can do it!! He had appendicitis and had to go to the hospital at 10 pm and go get surgery at 1 am. Just what everybody wants to do with their Saturday night.
*Disclaimer* I know that Golden Corral didn't have anything to do with it, but really, coincidence I don't know!!

WOW! Is he okay? Adam had it when he was little and has a nice scar from his surgery because it burst before they got it out. What did you do with the kids? Where you able to be there? Is he home from the hospital? I hope that everything went well and that he gets to feeling better soon. We will be thikning of you.

YUCK!!! Tyler's family's favorite restaurant is Golden Corral! I've not heard of anyone getting appendicitis from there. This is the first. Can you sue????

Golden Corral is one of our favorite places. Appendicitis doesn't come from a one -time dinner, of course but from an inflamed and diseased organ. Anyway, I am glad it is out and that the surgery went well. We are looking forward to seeing you in another 9 days - this will be a good place to recover. love, Mom
